Agilitas Sports, backed by Nexus Venture Partners and Convergent Finance, has officially launched Italian sportswear brand Lotto in India, with a goal of achieving ₹1,000 crore in revenue over the next five years.
The brand’s India entry began with a digital-first approach, with products initially available online. Agilitas now plans to scale Lotto’s presence through a multi-channel strategy, including e-commerce platforms, quick commerce, regional and national retail chains, and exclusive mono-brand stores.
“We have ambitious plans for Lotto in India. We’ve started with sneakers and will gradually roll out a complete range of performance and athleisure footwear, apparel, and accessories,” said Abhishek Ganguly, Co-founder & CEO of Agilitas Sports.
The company intends to open 10 mono-brand stores by the March 2026 quarter, scaling up to 100 stores in the next two to three years, with Lotto projected to be available at 350 retail touchpoints by early next year.
Agilitas also plans to export Lotto products to South Africa and Australia, leveraging its exclusive distribution rights in those markets. Around 80–85% of Lotto products will be manufactured locally in India, supported by a dedicated factory and in-house R&D centre.
In parallel, the company is actively exploring partnerships to bring additional global sportswear and athleisure brands to the Indian market.
