L&T B&F Builds Big Across Borders: Secures Orders in India & Oman

L&T Construction's Buildings & Factories (B&F) division has successfully secured a substantial order in both India and Oman. In India, the residential segment of B&F has clinched a noteworthy repeat order from the Government Planning & Development Authority of Maharashtra. The contract involves the construction of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Housing, comprising 14 towers and associated infrastructure works in Navi Mumbai.

The comprehensive scope of work encompasses the design and construction of civil structures, including finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects, along with related external development works. The project is slated to be completed within a timeframe of 42 months.

Furthermore, the L&T Oman entity within the B&F business has secured a prestigious contract for a mixed-use development project in Muscat from a renowned private client. This project entails the construction of a 3-star hotel, featuring 80 hotel rooms, 101 serviced apartments, a 23-key residential apartment and office block with a common basement, and associated service buildings. The scope also includes external works, services, as well as hard and soft landscaping.
