On July 13, 2026, LT Elevator commenced construction of its new integrated manufacturing facility following a traditional Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. Strategically located on a recently acquired site in West Bengal, this facility is slated for commissioning by Q4 FY27.
This expansion marks a pivotal moment for the company, increasing its total manufacturing capacity by approximately 2.5 times. By consolidating manufacturing, sourcing, and operational execution, the facility is designed to significantly improve cost efficiency and reduce lead times. Once fully operational, it will support the production of passenger, goods, hospital, and home elevators, alongside multi-level automated car parking systems. The site features advanced manufacturing technology, including CNC press brake systems, and is engineered for future scalability beyond FY28. At peak capacity, the facility is expected to generate approximately Rs 400 crore in annual revenue, with an output potential of 2,500 elevator units and 8,000 car parking spaces.
