L&T Energy Scores Big Win! Secures ONGC Contract & Tender

Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Hydrocarbon vertical, L&T Energy, has secured a significant order from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Daman Upside Development Project-Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP). This project is located off India's west coast. According to L&T's project classification, the value of the order is estimated to be between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.

The comprehensive scope of work for this project includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning activities. L&T will be responsible for developing four wellhead platforms and laying down a 140-kilometer pipeline. Additionally, the project involves associated topside modifications at the Tapti Daman block in the Western offshore location.

This development marks a significant achievement for L&T Energy, reflecting its robust capabilities in handling large-scale and complex offshore projects. The company’s expertise in executing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects has been a crucial factor in securing this order from ONGC, one of India’s leading oil and gas companies.

The Daman Upside Development Project is expected to bolster ONGC's production capacity and enhance the infrastructure within the Tapti Daman block.
