L&T Lands Multiple Metal & Mining Mega-Deals

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured multiple key orders within its Minerals & Metals (M&M) business in India.

Among the notable wins, L&T has received an order from Hindalco to establish a 180 KTPA aluminium smelter and Gas Treatment Centre (GTC) for a greenfield project in Odisha. The scope of work includes civil and structural construction, as well as engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and plant installation. L&T has been a long-standing partner of Hindalco, supporting its growth across alumina, aluminium, and copper operations.

In addition, L&T’s M&M business has secured an order from Tata Steel for a 1 MTPA coke oven battery in Jamshedpur, encompassing engineering, manufacturing, and plant installation. The company has also won multiple orders for mining and material handling equipment from various clients across India, reinforcing its leadership in the mining and metals infrastructure sector.
