L&T Secures Landmark Refinery Project with Hindalco

Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Minerals & Metals (M&M) vertical has secured a significant contract from Hindalco to establish a greenfield alumina refinery plant in Odisha, with a production capacity of 850 KTPA. This comprehensive project includes engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation, in collaboration with leading technology providers. Previously, M&M won an order to set up an 8 MTPA pellet plant for a major steel producer in India. The value of this order is estimated to range between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.

The M&M vertical is renowned for delivering end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions, catering to sectors like mining, mineral processing, industrial products, and material handling.
