Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a significant order from CIDCO for an Integrated Infrastructure Development project in Navi Mumbai. This project, part of the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA), focuses on developing 60m and 45m wide roads across Town Planning Schemes 2 to 7.
The project will involve the construction of 13.28 km of approach roads, 9 major structures, including 3 iconic steel bridges over the Kalundre river and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, and 27 underpasses, along with utility and electrical works.
L&T's shares saw a rise of ₹32.55, reaching ₹3,605.25 on the NSE, reflecting investor confidence following the announcement.
The company classifies this as a "large" order, with an estimated value between ₹2,500 to ₹5,000 crore. This win further strengthens L&T’s leadership in the infrastructure sector.
