IT services major LTIMindtree has been awarded the Insight 2.0 project by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) to develop an artificial intelligence–driven system aimed at modernising India’s national tax analytics platform.
The contract, valued at around ₹3,000 crore, will be implemented over a seven-year period. As part of the mandate, LTIMindtree will build a next-generation analytics framework to enable data-driven decision-making and deliver real-time insights to policymakers.
In a statement, the company said the contract win highlights its capabilities in executing large-scale digital transformation initiatives using advanced digital architecture and data analytics solutions.
The project further strengthens LTIMindtree’s presence in government technology programmes. In 2023, the company had secured the PAN 2.0 project from the Income Tax Department, reinforcing its role in the ongoing modernisation of India’s tax administration systems.
