Maartan Fine Chem Private Limited is establishing a new Bulk Drugs and Intermediates Project at Kopparthy (Plot No.11), YSR, Andhra Pradesh. The project is located in Kopparthy, Andhra Pradesh, at the YSR Jagananna Mega Industrial Hub. The project has already gained environmental permission, and construction is set to begin in early 2023.
The project will generate a variety of bulk pharmaceuticals and intermediates, including antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and cardiovascular medications, and will have a total capacity of 50 tonnes per month (TPM). Maartan Fine Chem Limited intends to export a major amount of the plant's output to global markets. Maartan Fine Chem Limited's aim to enhance its foothold in the bulk medicines and intermediates industry includes the expansion project. In addition, the company intends to increase manufacturing capacity for other pharmaceutical products such as formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The project is anticipated to benefit the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
It will generate jobs and stimulate the local economy. The project will also aid in the reduction of India's reliance on imported bulk pharmaceuticals and intermediates. Furthermore, the project is projected to assist Maartan Fine Chem Limited expand its product portfolio and enhance its market share.
As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started the work on the project will be finished in 2024, 2025 or 2026 It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
