Premier Energies, a leading integrated solar cell and module manufacturer, has successfully secured a substantial 608-MW DCR (Domestic Content Requirement) bifacial solar PV modules supply order from NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation). The contract, valued at approximately Rs 1,700 crore, involves the provision of PV modules for NTPC's Nokh solar PV Project located in Rajasthan. This significant supply order is anticipated to be fulfilled within a nine-month timeframe.
The state-of-the-art modules will be produced at Premier Energies' expansive 40-acre manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana. This facility is strategically designed to optimize energy generation and improve overall project efficiency. With an impressive annual module capacity of four GW and a cell capacity of two GW, Premier Energies is dedicated to advancing top-tier indigenous solar cells and modules, making a substantial contribution to the 'Make in India' initiative.
