RMC Switchgears has successfully commissioned 8.8 MWac of a 46 MWac Solar EPC project awarded by the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) in Shevgaon, Ahmednagar district.
The commissioned portion, valued at ₹38.49 crore, forms part of the larger ₹153.98 crore project. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the project’s execution and underscores RMC’s commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure on schedule. The company has confirmed that the full 46 MWac capacity is expected to be completed within the current financial year. Situated in a rural region, the project is designed to strengthen power supply reliability for farmers, small enterprises, and local households.
Once fully operational, the solar plant will support Maharashtra’s renewable energy targets, reduce dependence on diesel-powered pumps, and improve the quality of life in nearby villages. Commenting on the achievement, Ankit Agrawal, CEO of RMC Switchgears, said, “This progress reflects our team’s technical capability and disciplined approach to project delivery.”
