Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has unveiled a major development blueprint for the Palamuru region, allocating over ₹1,038 crore for a series of projects.
Addressing the Praja Paalana Sabha in Makthal, he outlined an ambitious 10-year vision focused on strengthening irrigation, education, and infrastructure. Among the flagship initiatives is the Makthal–Narayanpet–Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme, designed to irrigate 1.15 lakh acres, along with the establishment of Young India Integrated Schools.
The Chief Minister also highlighted significant expansion plans for Palamuru University. “This plan will usher in a new era of progress for Palamuru, transforming it into a model region for the state,” he said. The comprehensive development strategy aims to drive sustainable growth, boost the rural economy, and enhance the well-being of local communities.
