Mandya Zilla Panchayat CEO Nandini KR has ordered officials and contractors to fast-track ongoing multi-village drinking water supply projects across the district. Inspecting a project near Maralagala in Srirangapatna taluk—designed to supply clean water to 51 habitations—she reviewed the water purification plant and key infrastructure. Raising concerns over delays in building the critical jackwell component, she urged immediate action to clear technical hurdles and complete the project on schedule for rural communities across three taluks.
