Maruti Suzuki Gears Up: Adding 500 Service Points for Wider Reach

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd plans to add approximately 500 new service touchpoints during the financial year 2025–26, aiming to expand its total network to around 6,000 touchpoints. This expansion is part of the company's continued effort to enhance customer convenience and accessibility across urban and rural markets.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki operates 40,000 service bays in 2,764 cities and towns, with the capacity to service three crore vehicles annually. In FY 2024–25, the company added 460 service touchpoints, averaging more than one new facility per day. As of early FY26, 91 new service centres have already been commissioned.

Highlighting the importance of service accessibility, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, stated,

“One of the key factors most customers consider when purchasing a new car is the availability of a nearby service workshop that offers reliable and affordable service. It gives them complete peace of mind.”

Maruti Suzuki set a record in FY24–25 by servicing over 2.7 crore vehicles, its highest ever in a single year. In May 2025, the company reached another milestone by servicing 24.5 lakh vehicles in a single month, equivalent to 170 vehicles per minute or 3 vehicles per second across its nationwide network.

The expansion underscores Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to strengthening its aftersales service infrastructure in line with its growing customer base.
