Mega Green Pact: NGEL and SCCL Sign MoU in Hyderabad

NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. (SCCL) on 19 November 2025 in Hyderabad.

The MoU was exchanged in the presence of SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Balram and senior officials from both organisations. The partnership aims to explore joint opportunities for developing renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid systems (with or without storage), along with green hydrogen and its derivatives, as well as green mobility solutions.

This collaboration underscores the shared commitment of both companies to advancing sustainable energy initiatives and contributing to India’s clean energy transition.
