Melstarr's ₹300 Crore Boost for Karnataka's Aviation Sector

Melstarr Aviations Tech (MAT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Melstarr Information Technologies, is making a strategic foray into the aviation training sector with plans to establish a cutting-edge Flight Training Organization (FTO) in Karnataka.

With an initial investment of ₹300 crore, MAT's initiative ranks among the largest private sector commitments in India’s fast-growing pilot training landscape. The first phase of development has already been allocated ₹100 crore, with additional investments planned over the next three years.

Tarun Kashyap, Chief Operating Officer of MATPL, underscored the scale of this endeavor, calling it a landmark move by a private player to enhance India’s aviation training infrastructure. This investment is expected to significantly contribute to meeting the surging demand for skilled pilots across the Indian aviation industry.
