Mining the Boom: Hindustan Copper Targets 32,000-Tonne Leap

Capitalizing on a booming market, Hindustan Copper has scaled its metal-in-concentrate target to 32,000 tonnes for the current financial year—up sharply from the 27,000 tonnes achieved last year.

While keeping its ore production steady at 4.7 million tonnes, the company is unlocking future growth through aggressive mine development and streamlined project execution across its core assets: KCC (0.81% grade), Malanjkhand (0.85% grade), and Ghatsila (0.65% grade). As the clean energy transition and infrastructure boom drive unprecedented demand for copper, these strategic initiatives position Hindustan Copper as a vital anchor in India's critical mineral supply chain.
