"Modi's Chhattisgarh Surge: ₹33,700 Crore Development"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over Rs 33,700 crore across various sectors in Chhattisgarh on March 30, 2025. The event took place in Mohbhattha village, Bilaspur district.

During the event, PM Modi flagged off the MEMU train service on the Abhanpur-Raipur route via Mandir Hasaud and handed over replica keys of houses to three beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G).

Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for NTPC’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Project Stage-III (1x800MW) in Bilaspur. This Rs 9,790 crore pit-head project incorporates ultra-supercritical technology, enhancing power generation efficiency.
