Modular Hydrogen: BGR Tech & Elchemtech's Innovative Approach to Clean Energy

BGR Tech Ltd., a subsidiary of Prenora Holdings, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Elchemtech Co. Ltd., South Korea, to strengthen hydrogen solutions in India. This collaboration aims to introduce Advanced Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysers (PEMWE), combining Elchemtech's state-of-the-art PEM electrolysers with BGR Tech's Balance of Plant (BoP) for hydrogen projects across the country.

As part of the partnership, both companies are also exploring the potential to manufacture or assemble PEM stacks locally in India, as stated by the companies.

Elchemtech’s H2Lyser© PEMWE is renowned for its high efficiency and compact design. Under this agreement, BGR Tech will integrate essential components such as Ultrapure Water Treatment, Gas Separation Units (GSU), Hydrogen Purification Systems (HPS), Oxygen Purification Systems (OPS), and Low-Pressure Storage into modular skid configurations.

This collaboration represents a key milestone for BGR Tech, as it expands its hydrogen technology portfolio and reinforces its commitment to advancing clean energy solutions.
