Mold-Tek Packaging, a leading injection-molded container maker, has started a major project in Panipat, Haryana, called the Pails Project. This plastic pail manufacturing plant, projected to cost Rs 30 crore, addresses Northern India's growing pail demand.
This project was driven by the growing demand for pails, primarily from Grasim Industries' Paints Division, with which Mold-Tek Packaging has a Letter of Award. The plant may also produce IML (In-Mold Labeling) containers for food and FMCG items to meet rising regional demand.
Mold-Tek Packaging's seven processing units and three stock locations in India demonstrate its container production leadership. An in-house tool room with cutting-edge mold design and development gear helps the firm produce high-quality containers.
This new factory in Panipat will strengthen Mold-Tek Packaging's Northern India presence and manufacturing capabilities. This strategic decision satisfies urgent market demands and allows the firm to benefit on the growing market for a variety of containers, strengthening its industry leadership.
As on December 2023, The project is in its final stages of completion. Approximately 80% of the project's work has been finished. By February 2024, all of the project work will have been finished.
