MoRTH Launches ₹1,967 Cr EPC Bid for NH-160A Upgrade

he Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has floated a tender for the rehabilitation and upgradation of a key section of National Highway-160A in Maharashtra.

The project involves upgrading the Trimbak–Mokhada–Jawhar–Manor–Palghar stretch (from km 101.100 to km 208.135) to a two-lane or four-lane configuration with paved shoulders, covering a total length of 107.035 km. The work will be carried out under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.

The estimated project cost is ₹1,966.63 crore. The contract includes a construction timeline of two years, followed by a five-year maintenance period.

The deadline for bid submissions is October 27, 2025.
