Mother Dairy plans to invest ₹1,400 crore-₹1,500 crore over the next two to three years to boost production capacity. Currently operating 12 plants, the company is expanding with three new facilities in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Managing Director Manish Bandlish confirmed that construction has already begun on the Nagpur dairy plant. In FY25, the company anticipates a 13% revenue increase, from ₹15,000 crore to ₹17,000 crore.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board, Mother Dairy primarily serves Delhi-NCR but has expanded into Mumbai and Kolkata, reaching 400,000 retail outlets nationwide. The company operates in three key sectors: dairy, food & utilities (Safal), and edible oil (Dhara). While general trade remains its primary sales channel, modern trade and e-commerce contribute 8-10% of total sales.
