MPIDC’s ₹67-Crore Tilgara Project Hits Key Milestone

The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has begun allotting land in its newly developed Tilgara industrial zone near Badnawar in Dhar district, marking fresh momentum in industrial growth across western Madhya Pradesh.

The first major allotment, covering four hectares, has been made to a plastic manufacturing company within the 150-hectare industrial zone, which has been developed at an estimated cost of ₹67 crore. The area is being positioned as a growth hub for small and medium manufacturing enterprises, with supporting infrastructure development currently underway.

MPIDC is also progressing plans for additional industrial zones in the region, including Tarapur, Lalbagh Basvi and Bhaisola, to address increasing investor interest around Indore, the state’s largest industrial cluster.

Commenting on the development, MPIDC Executive Director Himanshu Prajapati said the land allotment at Tilgara signals the start of industrial activity in the area and reflects MPIDC’s focus on creating well-planned infrastructure to promote ease of doing business and attract sustainable investments. The initiative is expected to draw multi-product industries and strengthen the region’s manufacturing ecosystem.
