NACL Multichem Industries Plans Captive Power in Andhra Pradesh

NACL Multichem Industries Limited's Agrochemicals, Synthetic Organic Chemicals Manufacturing Unit and Co-Generation Power Plant Project in Naruva Village, Ranasthalam Mandal, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh

NACL Multichem Industries Limited (NACL) is proposing to establish a 96.09-acre Agrochemicals, Synthetic Organic Chemicals Manufacturing Unit and Co-Generation Power Plant Project in Naruva Village, Ranasthalam Mandal, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh. The project is estimated to cost Rs.150 crores.

The project will have the following manufacturing capacities:

• Agrochemicals: 76 TPD
• Synthetic Organic Chemicals: 30.5 TPD
• Co-Generation Power Plant: 6 MW
• Bio Based Agrochemicals: 1.53 TPD
• Agrochemicals Formulations: 50000 MT/KL Per Year

The project is now in the stage of construction being started. There has been progress made on the project equaling 20%. The work on the project will be finished by December of 2024. It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
