NBCC Wins Rs 100 Crore Deal to Build Centralized Core Repository with Labs for Oil India

State-owned NBCC (India) Limited has secured a Rs 100 crore contract from Oil India to build a centralised core repository with advanced laboratory facilities in Guwahati, Assam. The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NBCC and Oil India. This facility is set to enhance Oil India's capabilities in core sample analysis and research, catering to its operational needs in the region.

The centralised core repository will serve as a crucial infrastructure project, aimed at centralizing and modernizing Oil India's core sample storage and analysis operations. It is expected to bolster efficiency and accuracy in the evaluation of geological data, crucial for the company's exploration and production activities in Assam.

NBCC highlighted the significance of this project in bolstering infrastructure for the oil and gas sector in India's northeastern region. The construction of the facility in Guwahati marks a strategic move to consolidate Oil India's operational capabilities, leveraging advanced laboratory technologies for comprehensive core analysis.
