Nephrocare Invests Rs. 70 Crore in Setting Up 22 Kidney Care Centers Across India

Nephrocare India is strategically expanding its footprint in the kidney care sector, aiming to establish 22 state-of-the-art kidney care centers across India by March 2026. Embracing the hub and spoke model, the company is actively considering various avenues for fundraising, including the possibility of an initial public offering (IPO).

These cutting-edge centers are designed to cater to the specific needs of patients seeking specialized renal care services. Each center will feature a modern dialysis facility with 12 beds, a critical renal patient care setup, and dedicated departments for lifestyle-oriented yoga and nutritional care. These comprehensive services will be complemented by a patient-centric IT solution, ensuring a holistic and personalized approach to healthcare.

Presently, Nephrocare operates three clinics along with a flagship unit in Kolkata. The expansion plan includes the opening of three additional centers in Shyambazar, Chandannagar, and North Bengal. Furthermore, the company aims to extend its reach to Chattisgarh, with a center slated to open in Raipur by March 2024, with an estimated investment of approximately Rs 12 crore.

Looking ahead, Nephrocare envisions the establishment of a total of 300 such centers across the country within the next 10 to 15 years. This expansion aligns with the anticipated growth of India's dialysis market, projected to surge from USD 2.113 billion in 2022 to USD 4.368 billion by 2030. Nephrocare India's ambitious plan reflects its commitment to addressing the rising demand for advanced renal care solutions and making a substantial impact on the healthcare landscape in the years to come.
