Nettoor Rising: Kochi’s New Water Metro Anchor Station

Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL) is upgrading the proposed Nettoor Water Metro terminal into a major station to serve as a key feeder node for the Kakkanad Infopark IT hub and ease NH-66 traffic. Following the cancellation of six unviable terminals due to operational and navigational constraints, the approved master plan now stands at 33 terminals, with the condition that Nettoor's construction incurs no additional financial burden on the state.
