Major milestone for India’s semiconductor landscape! RIR Power Electronics has finished installing and commissioning its Silicon Carbide (SiC) epitaxial wafer manufacturing reactors in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
As part of a larger Rs 618 crore investment, this facility lays the groundwork for a vertically integrated "Silicon Carbide to System" ecosystem. Once statutory formalities clear, the plant will power critical industries—from electric mobility and renewable energy to aerospace and data centers—with high-efficiency SiC technology.
