NH 548B Upgrade: MoRTH Issues ₹300 Crore Bid Call

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the rehabilitation and upgradation of National Highway (NH) 548B, covering stretches across Maharashtra and Karnataka.

The project involves upgrading the section from km 289.300 to km 342.890 to a two-lane configuration with paved shoulders, spanning a total length of 52.556 km. The work will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis and aims to enhance road infrastructure and inter-state connectivity between Maharashtra and Karnataka.

The project carries an estimated cost of ₹299.97 crore, reflecting the government’s continued focus on strengthening the national highway network.

The deadline for bid submission is December 18, 2025.
