The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is inviting bids for the expansion project to convert the current two-lane to a four-lane road from the Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh border to the Puttu section.
The project entails widening the current two-lane paved shoulder section of NH-716 from the Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh border (exchange ch km.338.030/ch km 61.510) to Puttu (ch. km.318.000/ch km 81.540) to a four-lane paved shoulder covering a distance of 20.030 km. Additionally, the project includes the widening of the existing four-lane paved shoulder section of NH-71.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 775.72 crore, and it is anticipated to be completed within a timeframe of 36 months.
Interested parties are invited to submit their bids by the deadline of 31 January 2024.
