Schneider Electric Infrastructure is investing ₹211 crore to expand its Kolkata-based Medium Voltage Components facility. The project will scale annual Vacuum Interrupter capacity to 3,75,000 units (+50%) and add a new Breaker line capable of 18,000 units per year. Financed through internal accruals and external borrowings, the initiative positions the company to serve growing domestic and export demand driven by grid modernization and renewable energy expansion.
