North Central Railway invites bids for ROBs on Etah-Barhan section

North Central Railway has announced a significant tender for the construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) between the Etah-Barhan section in the Prayagraj division. This project aims to enhance connectivity and safety in the region.

The first two-lane ROB, including its approaches, will be built in place of Level Crossing No. 25 at km 21/0-01 between the Etah-Barhan section. This development is budgeted at Rs 44.96 crore, ensuring a robust infrastructure upgrade for local transportation.

In addition to this, the tender also covers the construction of another ROB with approaches in lieu of Level Crossing No. 22 at km 17/1-2 on the same section. This project is estimated to cost Rs 41.29 crore, further demonstrating the railway's commitment to infrastructure improvement.

The construction period for both projects is set at 18 months, indicating a swift turnaround to minimize disruption and enhance the region's transport network.

Interested bidders must submit their proposals by 16 July 2024, marking a crucial deadline for those looking to participate in this major infrastructure initiative.
