Northern Railway's ₹360 Cr Bid to Link Hajipur & Talwara

Northern Railway has floated a tender for the balance construction works of the new broad-gauge (BG) railway line between Hajipur and Talwara, under the NLDM–TLR rail link initiative spanning multiple states.

The scope of work includes earthwork, construction of bridges, retaining walls, road underbridges (RUBs), limited height subways (LHS), station buildings, platforms, and other allied infrastructure. It also involves the construction of a triangle railway arrangement between Patial and Bhangala.

The contract is valued at ₹359.71 crore, and the selected contractor will be required to complete the work within 24 months from the date of commencement.

The last date for bid submission is August 5, 2025.
