NPSPL Speciality Chemicals Private Limited is set to establish a cathode material manufacturing facility in Gudupalle mandal near Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh, with a proposed investment of ₹2,550 crore.
The project has been approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, which has also allotted 105 acres of land to the Kolkata-based company for the development. The facility is expected to create around 400 jobs in the region.
As part of the agreement, the state government will extend incentives under its Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy, including a 60% capital subsidy and a power cost reimbursement of ₹2 per unit for 10 years.
Officials said the project is expected to strengthen advanced materials manufacturing in the state while supporting employment generation and industrial development.
