NTPC's subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy is soliciting offers for a 630 MW (2x 315 MW) grid-connected solar power plant at Barethi, Madhya Pradesh. Bids are due December 29, 2023.

The selected bidder will manage operations and maintenance for three years. Bidders must have completed 40 MW or more solar projects. One project must be 10 MW or greater.

Bid security is required with each submission. Bid security is Rs 200 million (2.4 million) for one block (325MW) and Rs 500 million (6 million) for two blocks (2x325 MW).

The project includes designing, engineering, manufacture, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing, and commissioning grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic plants. This covers open-category PV modules.

The developer will also oversee project operations and maintenance for three years. Bidders should be experienced developers or have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned 40 MW or more solar projects.
