Odisha Goes Green: Acme's ₹58,209 Crore Project Ushers in Hydrogen Era

Acme Clean Energy Private Limited's ambitious Green Hydrogen & Green Ammonia Unit Project in Gopalpur, Odisha, signifies a monumental leap towards advancing India's clean energy agenda. With a staggering investment of ₹58,209 crores, it stands as one of the largest clean energy ventures in the country, underscoring Acme's commitment to sustainable development. Boasting a production capacity of 1.2 Million Tonnes per Annum (Mtpa) of green ammonia, the project aims to significantly contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning towards cleaner energy sources.

Central to the project's operations is a massive 4500 MW solar-based power unit, marking a substantial step towards integrating renewable energy into industrial processes. By harnessing solar power for hydrogen and ammonia production, Acme is paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future. Green hydrogen and ammonia, being clean-burning fuels, hold immense potential to mitigate environmental impacts and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change.
