Odisha's Cuttack Goes Underground: WRD Seeks Bids for Mega Pipeline Project

The Water Resources Department (WRD) in Odisha has recently released a tender for the development of an underground pipeline system in Cuttack district.

This project encompasses the construction of an underground pipeline system for the Hadua irrigation project located at Narasinghpur in the state. The initiative includes the establishment of a distribution network to cover a cultivable command area (CCA) spanning 3,641 hectares.

Valued at Rs 164.41 crore, the contract will be executed under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model, with an associated five-year period allocated for operation and maintenance (O&M).

Interested parties are invited to submit their bids, with the deadline set for February 15, 2024.
