Haryana-based Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) has commenced the supply of electric resistance welded (ERW) and galvanized iron (GI) pipes from its newly commissioned greenfield plant in Sundargarh, Odisha.
Commercial operations at the 1,56,000 MTPA facility began in July 2025, following a ₹119.83 crore investment executed over a period of 30 months. The plant manufactures a range of value-added steel products, including crash barriers, power transmission towers, high mast and octagonal lighting poles, and monopoles.
With this new addition, VSTL’s total installed capacity across its three manufacturing units—in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Odisha—has increased to 377,000 MTPA.
The company’s product portfolio includes:
ERW pipes, Hot-dip galvanized pipes, Hollow section pipes, Primer-painted pipes
A significant portion—over 80%—of VSTL’s revenue comes from contract manufacturing for Jindal Pipes under the “Jindal Star” brand. The company serves key western and southern Indian markets, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
