Orchid Hotels Enters Ambala with New 65-Key Resort

Orchid Hotels (ROHL) has signed a management agreement for a new 65-key upscale resort in Ambala, Haryana, marking its strategic entry into an emerging market near the Punjab border. The project is being developed in partnership with Mr. Lovepreet Singh and aligns with ROHL’s asset-light growth model.

Spread across six acres with a built-up area of 1,05,000 sq. ft., the resort is designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. It will feature deluxe, club, and suite categories, complemented by a range of premium amenities including a multi-cuisine restaurant, lively bar, swimming pool, spa and salon, and a fully equipped gym.

To cater to the growing demand for events and social functions, the resort will house four banquet halls ranging from 3,200 to 8,000 sq. ft., a dedicated conference area, and a 25,000 sq. ft. lawn with tent facilities—ideal for destination weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.

Commenting on the expansion, ROHL stated the Ambala property represents its continued focus on underserved and high-potential markets, and is expected to contribute significantly to tourism and hospitality growth in North India.
