Park & Ride: Kochi Metro's Smart Parking Expansion Hits Edapally

Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL) will begin construction next month on its second automated multi-level car parking (MLCP) facility at Edapally Junction. Designed to accommodate 100 cars, the facility will integrate with an upcoming hotel development while prioritizing spaces for Metro commuters. Equipped with 24/7 CCTV surveillance, it will operate from 30 minutes before the first train. This project follows KMRL's first robotic MLCP at Vadakkekotta station, with future facilities planned for Aluva and Ernakulam South.
