Patanjali Land to Host Noida's New Agri-Export Hub

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has proposed to sublease 50 acres of Patanjali's 300-acre food park in Sector 24A, Noida, for the development of a dedicated agri-export hub near the upcoming Noida International Airport.

The project will be spearheaded by Innova Food Park (Karnataka) and is part of a World Bank and Uttar Pradesh government-supported initiative aimed at boosting agricultural exports and promoting rural enterprise. The hub will feature facilities for testing, grading, packaging, and a gamma radiation unit for food sterilisation.

Located just over 10 km from the airport’s cargo terminal, the hub is strategically positioned to enable direct exports of fruits, vegetables, grains, and processed foods to markets in West Asia, Europe, and Russia.

Approved by the State Cabinet in July following a World Bank review, the plan is currently under discussion between YEIDA and Patanjali, according to YEIDA’s Shailendra Bhatia. The project is expected to strengthen farm-to-market linkages, promote agro-industrial growth, and create new opportunities for farmers and agri-businesses across western Uttar Pradesh.
