PG Electroplast Invests ₹350 Cr in AC Compressor Powerhouse

PG Electroplast plans to establish an air conditioning compressor manufacturing facility with a capital investment of Rs 350 crore.

The facility, expected to contribute positively to profit margins, will allocate 50% of its production for in-house AC units, with the remaining portion sold to external customers. Production is anticipated to commence in the second half of 2026. This move is part of the company's strategy to diversify and expand its electronics component business.

Vikas Gupta, MD of PG Electroplast, commented, “Currently, our electronics business accounts for less than 10% of our overall revenue, and we have ambitious plans to grow this segment significantly.”
