Powering Steel: Prostarm Secures ₹6.71 Cr Solar Deal with SAIL

Prostarm Info Systems Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 2 MW (AC) rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system across various plant buildings.

The contract is valued at ₹6.71 crore and is scheduled to be completed within a 12-month period. The project highlights the growing focus on integrating renewable energy solutions within industrial infrastructure.

Once implemented, the rooftop solar installation will help reduce dependence on conventional power sources and support sustainable energy adoption across SAIL’s facilities.
