Mahindra Susten, the renewable energy arm of the Mahindra Group, has commissioned 560 MWp of utility-scale solar capacity across Gujarat and Rajasthan in 2025.
The capacity comprises two projects of 280 MWp each, marking the first assets developed by Mahindra Susten following the sale of 1.54 GWp of solar assets in 2024. Power generated from these projects will be supplied under 25-year power purchase agreements to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam. Spread over nearly 2,000 acres, the projects feature N-type TOPCon bifacial solar modules, high-efficiency inverters, and dry-cleaning systems designed to maximise energy output. Together, the 560 MWp portfolio is expected to generate close to one billion units of electricity annually.
Avinash Rao, CEO of Mahindra Susten, said the commissioning represents a significant milestone and demonstrates the company’s capability to deliver large-scale renewable energy projects. Mahindra Susten continues to expand its renewable energy pipeline across multiple states in India.
