Pramod Confectionery & Food Industries is set to expand its operations with a new ₹150 crore plant in Bihta, Patna district, Bihar. This ambitious project will focus on producing a variety of bakery products, biscuits, namkeen, and sweets, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth.
The new facility, currently in the planning stage, is designed to handle a daily production capacity of 60 tonnes. With the production set to begin on April 1, 2026, Pramod Confectionery aims to achieve a turnover of ₹250 crore, highlighting the project’s potential impact on the company's revenue.
Machinery for the plant will be sourced from Gujarat and New Delhi, ensuring that the latest technology is employed in the manufacturing process. This will enable the company to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in production.
As part of a public-private partnership, the plant will manufacture 18,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of biscuits, 400 tpa of namkeen, and 105 tpa of sweets. This diverse product range will cater to growing consumer demand, both locally and beyond.
Pramod Confectionery’s expansion into Bihar reflects its commitment to scaling new heights and strengthening its presence in the Indian snacks and confectionery market.
