Premier Energies Powers Up With 1.2 GW TOPCon Solar Cell Line

Premier Energies, one of India’s leading integrated solar manufacturers, has commenced commercial operations of its new 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing line in Hyderabad, Telangana. The launch also marks the debut of the company’s next-generation 620 W DCR solar modules, powered by advanced G12R tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) technology.

These large-format, high-efficiency modules rank among the highest-output panels currently available in India. Engineered for maximum power density, improved temperature performance, and superior low-light efficiency, the rectangular G12R N-type cell format allows for enhanced string power and optimized Balance of System (BOS) costs—ideal for utility-scale solar farms, commercial installations, and industrial rooftops.
