Premier Energies Limited has secured a 350 MW solar module supply agreement with Apraava Energy. The contract, signed by Premier Energies Limited and its subsidiaries Premier Energies International and Premier Energies Photovoltaic, will see Premier Energies International supplying high-performance solar PV modules for Apraava Energy's solar project in Rajasthan. These modules are designed to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and reliability.
Premier Energies boasts an impressive annual installed capacity of 2 GW for solar cells and 3.36 GW for modules as of March 31, 2024. The company is also expanding, with an additional 1 GW capacity for both cells and modules under construction. This expansion underlines Premier Energies' commitment to supporting the growing demand for renewable energy solutions.
In a strategic move, Premier Energies submitted its draft red herring prospectus to the Securities and Exchange Board of India in April 2024. The company aims to raise over Rs 15 billion through an initial public offering (IPO). This financial boost is expected to accelerate the company's growth and innovation in the renewable energy sector.
The agreement with Apraava Energy highlights Premier Energies' capabilities and reputation in the solar energy market. By providing high-quality solar modules, the company continues to play a vital role in advancing India's renewable energy goals.
Premier Energies' strategic initiatives and robust capacity enhancements position it as a key player in the renewable energy industry, driving sustainability and energy efficiency forward.
