Pune's New Innovation Hub: Atlas Copco's Advanced Compressor Plant

Atlas Copco Group has inaugurated a state-of-the-art, 270,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, dedicated to producing advanced air and gas compressors, including CNG, biogas, and hydrogen compressors. The facility also manufactures air dryers, nitrogen and oxygen generators, and medical filtration accessories.

Built on Industry 4.0 principles, the plant integrates smart manufacturing and sustainability, with 80% of its energy sourced from a 1.3 MW rooftop solar system and the grid. It also incorporates rainwater harvesting and advanced cooling systems, reinforcing its eco-friendly design.

Equipped with extensive testing capabilities, the facility supports research and development for future innovations. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certifications, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality, safety, and environmental standards. This launch underscores Atlas Copco’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in India.
