Punglia wins Goa water treatment plant project

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia, a prominent contracting firm, has secured a significant contract worth Rs. 67.81 crore from the Office of Executive Engineer Division XXIV(WS), Public Works Department (PWD) Sarvana, Bicholim Goa. The contract entails the construction of a 15 MLD water treatment plant (WTP) at Morlem Sattari, accompanied by the construction of reservoirs and laying of crucial infrastructure across several villages in Sattari taluka.

The project, aimed at enhancing water management, involves the provision and laying of rising mains and conveying mains in villages including Morlem, Poriem, Pissurlem, Honda, and Querim. Vishnu Prakash R Punglia emerged as the chosen contractor following a competitive tender process, evaluated and approved by the competent authority.

Collaborating closely with PWD Sarvana, Bicholim Goa, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia plans to leverage its expertise to ensure the timely completion of the water treatment plant. This comprehensive initiative is expected to bring substantial improvements to the region's water infrastructure, benefiting local communities and stakeholders alike.
