PVV Infra, a leading solar rooftop solutions provider, has signed a ₹650-crore memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to establish a 1 GW N-Type TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility.
The MoU, formalised on November 15, 2025, outlines plans to set up the advanced facility on a 30-acre industrial site near the Visakhapatnam airport. The project is expected to generate 350 direct and more than 450 indirect jobs, strengthening local industrial growth and boosting skill development in the region.
Leveraging its expertise in investment, technology, planning, and engineering design, PVV Infra will develop and operationalise the state-of-the-art manufacturing unit, further advancing India’s renewable energy ambitions. “This initiative marks a major step toward bolstering India’s renewable infrastructure and promoting sustainable industrial development,” a PVV Infra spokesperson said.
